7 Day Kilimanjaro Rongai Route

Trip Overview

The Rongai Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border, offering a unique and less-crowded ascent compared to other routes. Known for its dry conditions and gradual ascent, Rongai provides stunning, diverse landscapes, including rainforests, moorlands, and the rugged alpine desert. The 7-day Rongai Route includes an acclimatization day, which enhances the likelihood of summit success. Trekkers will enjoy views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, abundant wildlife, and an unforgettable sunrise at Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the highest point in Africa.
