Begin your safari with an early morning pickup from Arusha, journeying through scenic landscapes toward Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant populations, Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s most captivating parks. Once you enter the park, your day will be spent on a thrilling game drive, with opportunities to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and various predators. Take a break for a picnic lunch at a designated spot, surrounded by the sights and sounds of Tarangire’s vast landscapes. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, seeking out more wildlife in the cooler hours. In the late afternoon, head to your accommodation in Karatu for an overnight stay, where you can relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Following an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, a park famous for its breathtaking lake views, varied ecosystems, and unique wildlife, including tree-climbing lions. As you drive through the park, keep an eye out for flamingos, hippos, elephants, and troops of baboons. Lake Manyara’s groundwater forests, savannas, and acacia woodlands provide a stunning setting for a morning of wildlife viewing.
